The PROBLEM OF HUMAN ASSUMPTION AND PERCEPTION || 05-Dec-2023

General Naaman despite his exploits was plagued with incurable leprosy – “Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valor, but he was a leper.” vs 1
He was introduced to the prophet of Israel called Elisha who told him what to do to be healed – “And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.” vs 10
By human assumption and perception, he believed that the rivers of Damascus called Abana and Pharpar were better than all the rivers of Israel and should have been the ones that the man of God should have directed him to for his healing.
His limited perception and human assumption made him turn and go away in rage which would have made him miss his miraculous healing and wholeness.
He was later convinced by his soldiers and washed in the seemingly worse river of Jordan for his miraculous healing and wholeness – “Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.” vs 14

No matter who you are, your human assumption and perception will always be limited in comparison to divine intelligence.
No matter what you know, your human intelligence will always be limited in comparison with divine intelligence.

To esteem your human assumption and perception above the word of God is to continually miss out on the miracles of God.

To disobey divine instructions because of your assumption and perception is to be denied your destined blessings and breakthroughs from God.

To obey divine instructions and intelligence by overruling your assumptions and perceptions is to enjoy unlimited divine interventions.
